Itinerant choreographic performance based on the meeting and relationship between 4 performers, their experiences, contemporary dance, stilts and the Sea. On the beach, the performers lead the audience through the space, inviting everyone for a personal immersion through the images created by the connection between their bodies and the elements that make up the landscape.
Originally created in 2008, Expasso was born as a solo developed by Claudio Machado along with the choreographer Líria Morays. The artists created a short piece developed by the dialogue between contemporary dance and stilts. Ten years later, the project comes again expanding their horizon with the sea as the scenic space and with a larger constellation of performers: Clara Garcia Espada, Matías Santiago and João Rafael Neto.
We offer a unique, contemporary and easily accessible work to the audience. Ex-passo is a piece created by a collaborative process and directed by Claudio Machado. It has the original soundtrack from the composer, singer and musical director, Jarbas Bittencourt. It’s a public piece, open to and for everyone, where we construct together with the audience a poetic journey about connection with each other and the surrounding. A dance piece thats goes beyond entertainment and works as a tool to understand the city and the nature as a common benefit.
